Dear Comrades, The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Australia (Marxist-Leninist), extends warm greetings to all comrades and expresses our solidarity with the Anti-Imperialist Conference in Thessaloniki. Class conscious workers and comrades in Australia fully support the heroic struggles of the Greek working class against imperialism and reaction. We have the greatest admiration and respect for the vision and leading role of the KKE (M-L) in the struggles of the Greek people. The economic crisis of global capitalism is spreading poverty and despair throughout the developed world, as well as increasing the existing misery of countless millions in the poorer countries. Rivalry between the imperialist powers increases the risks of war. Contradictions between the oppressed peoples and classes and their oppressors sharpen. Climate warming is another unresolved issue for the survival of humanity. US imperialism, the pillar of global capitalism and at the core of the crisis, is staggering in shock, but will not fall unless it is pushed over. At this time, it is vital to strengthen the solidarity and unity of the international movement. We look to the struggles ahead with confidence that the proper application of Marxism-Leninism will lead the people of the world to a bright future. In solidarity,
