The assimilation and integration policies inside the EU, the racist- discrimination practices and fascist attacks towards migrants in EU countries

The European Union (EU) is darned as the new tower of multi national monopoles of the imperialist states in Europe. In the 21st century parasite capital, in order to aggravate capitalist dictation and harshly continue its control over the world market and energy consignment, the battle over domination grows, and today is advancing more. For a long time, inside the borders of the EU, that has a function as reactionary-imperialist focus and connected to this quarrel, every day is bringing out more new packages of attacks against the labouring masses, mainly towards the migrant masses. Τhere is a big danger behind these attacks and these attacks extend more every day.
All over the world, according to official numbers, a big amount of over 200 million peoples' rights are always extorted. Within the border of the USA, about 12-15 million and in the boundaries of the EU 5-6 million migrants live either without registration or illegal. These migrants are being exempted from any rights and really play the figure as the miserables. From the migrant movement in the world only 3% is reaching the borders of the EU. Those that do not make it have to live in poor countries, in the boundaries of despotic and fascist regimes and must live under indescribable heavy migrant conditions.
Especially in the end of the 90’s of the previous century, in the whole world, a battle over the domination over the world market was put in question. As a result of this, they want to create new geo-strategical-political profitable routes to control and guarantee the consignments of sources and raw materials, which mainly advance under the directive of the US. This situation puts a new period of competition politics, aiming the control of the profits between the imperialists. Ostensibly connected to the heated competition and balances, brings the already violently unbridle exploitation of the bourgeois ruling classes; oppression, violence, plunder, occupation politics and mass immigration become an even more current issue. Parallel to facts like more centralisation and focusing of capitalist production and exploitation, it has a need for "high-middle-low qualified workers" and flexible production models of bourgeois production methods. With the impact of pushing the maximum profit, with sliding fast the cheap fields of production sector in its most profitable way, also causes the working forces to be mobile. The number of unemployed, shelterless, uninsured, of uneducated people from the labour masses has reached hundreds of millions and it is pushed into immigration; and they are always triggered from the principal facts mentioned above. The new migrant laws and practices, that are on the agenda in many countries, in order to hold the profit plans of the capitalists and its states, are nothing else than the effort to justify and practice the old discrimination and racist traditional politics. In this meaning, the official migrants’ policies cannot be handled separately from capitalist-imperialist exploitation; and the general and special exploitation of labour means nothing else than creating the direction of the old society forms. The faked reason for this direction mechanism is the so-called "economic crisis, demographic changes and national security". By these means the enemies of the migrants can comfortably implement the state politics in society. The migrant question, which keeps being a present issue as a reflection of imperialist war, exploitation, plunder and militarism politics, has become an important component of the working class questions. The native European peoples' liberation organisations do not issue the matters of the migrant workers enough and do not advance enough the reaction against racism, chauvinism and fascism. In order for the oppressed and labouring masses to be able to continue their lives, the migrant question created in imperialist-capitalist countries has made the labouring masses that are in search for new and better life conditions and that have been pushed aside and that have been marginalised in imperialist-capitalist metropoles forced them to become a population current. Through bringing out new laws, withdraws the rights of the workers in favour of capital profits. The modern capitalist proposal in recent years, the policies to bring "chosen and qualified migrant workers" to the metropoles in imperialist countries is an expression of it. For this reason, the exploitation, isolation, executions, extortion of rights, oblige the right of citizenship, to deprive from the rights of voting and being elected, sabotage houses and working places, executions in police stations and forcement of unregistered refugees to live illegal, deportation of migrants by force and the violation of the political rights of the migrant people are exactly the state politics of the imperialists.
The EU has stated that it will, with a new decision, separate 15 million Euros to deport back illegal migrants. The EU is going to finance 20 pilot projects for mass deportation and that it will increase mass deportations. As last year 600 thousand migrants were arrested inside EU boundaries, 200 thousand of them were deported. In the EU meeting of the ministers of justice and home affairs in Luxemburg from November 4-7 2004, the realization of collaboration against migrants was decided inside the frame of the European Council (EC). During the EC, member countries mentioned their demands for help in order to realize the decision. The EU minister of home affairs wanted that the demands of asylum need to be considered and according to the decision taken in 2004 be realized in EU countries. Is this situation state politics or not? Is it a new violation to the Geneva Asylum Rights Agreement?
Actually the migrants and natives in Europe that are brothers and sisters are being turned up against each other, is used as an effective imperialist weapon for the daily profits of the capitalists. These politics, that come soften across us as "thin racism", are many times not recognised enough by the broad labouring masses. These practices become the reason for social explosions, like the one last year in the suburbs of Paris. Even if it seems that everything is postponed, ahead from us more and bigger social explosions will occur. For this reason, some "rich countries", in order to control this mobilisation, bring out new migrant laws in order to direct them. These are laws of the big monopole bosses and with these they preserve the profits of the imperialist states, digest the rights of the migrant workers in the wheel of exploitation. At the same time, the imperialist migrants’ politics, which are also result of bourgeois assimilation and integration policies, are politics that isolate and insulate the migrant workers from the settled society and the workers. The bourgeoisie that on one side sees the need for cheap labour forces, will on the other side never quit using the well known "divide- break-rule", politics that turns the natives and migrant worker masses against each other.
The bourgeois system, which is splitting society into worker-boss, old-young, woman-man, migrant-native citizen, worker-unemployed, oppressor-oppressed and is turning them against each other wants to create a comfortable-unbridled basis to practice its exploitation politics.
The issuing in the last years of the continuing of aggression war under directive of the domestic and international militarist politics of imperialist countries, parallel to this, the cut backs of bourgeois democratic rights piece by piece, the deepening of national aggression and the danger of racism has intensified. All the initiatives that want to gain justification of state terror and the presentation and practice of the "anti-terror" laws, actually show the fear of the ruling classes and are nothing else then political terror laws. These laws do not just stay with limiting the right of "freedom" of any individual, but also extend to the extortion of some rights that were achieved through many sacrifices, like the right to organise and freedom of speech etc. The watching of dissidents, listening, quashing, devastation, annihilation laws that carry the poison of aggression and suppression, are passed very fast in the parliament. Freedom of press, constitutional justice, education and scientifical working rights are also under the name of security being scythed. The legal initiative procedures in many EU countries to officially make army forces and gendarmerie participate in the countries' political matters and occurrences to digest the reactions of the masses have started.
It is very open that the bourgeois security laws do not protect society but mainly protect the power of capital ant its forces to keep control. On this point to use this reactionary tendency in society with different propaganda methods, by declaring "international terror, Muslim terror, criminal and incompatible migrants" as hardened ideas, is also broadly made by bourgeois politicians and the media.
After this point, the responsibility for annihilation "tasks" is taken by fascist-racist organisations, which make hostile attacks against migrants. As results of sabotages against migrant houses many massacres happened. In Potsdam, an African architect and German citizen faced a racist attack and is since then in the emergency room fighting for his life. In the recent years hundreds of racist-fascist assaults, which resulted in either death of injured cases, occurred. Here are some detailed examples from Germany: According to news in the German press: only in the year 2005, 958 cases in where Neo-Nazis violently attacked migrants. This number is 23% more than in the year 2004, when 776 cases were registered. Besides this, racist crimes in 2004 were 12.051 and increased in the year 2005 to 15.361. The number of Neo-Nazis in Germany grows terrifying every day. The number of dead cases in Germany's police stations through violence, torture, because of no medical interference, or suicide, the number dying during custody has increased in the last ten years to 129. This imperialist country does -without even being ashamed- not step back by preaching other countries about respect of democracy and human rights in other countries. German security units have killed hundreds of refugees during forced deportations. Now the work for building camps in Latin America, Asia and Africa aims to kill them in those camps "more comfortably", meaning that refugees are deported back to their countries and are being killed, tortured and kept in camps there.
The violation of the democratic rights of migrants and treating them like second and third class citizens, are almost nearly practised in every European country, even if sometimes a little different. The migrant masses are being isolated through foreigner laws, cheap working laws, isolation and fascist-racist assaults in EU countries.
To overcome this situation, it is necessary to organise the European and migrant workers unity under the principal of struggle and solidarity. This is the task of all socialists, progressives, revolutionary, democratic institutions.
